Warren Averett’s Female Leadership Spotlighted in the Montgomery Business Journal

Warren Averett’s Montgomery accounting and advisory office was recently featured in the November issue of the Montgomery Business Journal. The feature, titled Women Who Move Montgomery, spotlighted female employees from businesses throughout the Montgomery community who shared the insight, wisdom and inspiration they have gained throughout their careers.

Warren Averett’s Montgomery female leadership team was highlighted.

Sandy Coaker, CPA (Montgomery’s Office Managing Member), Kelly Cochran (Director of Human Resources), Donna Conte, CPA (Finance Team Support Principal) and Kaleigh Flatt (Director of Practice Growth) discuss different aspects of success, what leadership looks like, why the right mentor matters and more.

In the feature, they share how leadership can motivate and empower others, the importance of building strong relationships and how the right mentor can give real-world advice to help you avoid making unnecessary missteps.

Warren Averett’s female leadership begins at the very top of the firm with women occupying several leadership positions, including CEO, COO, Director of Finance and many of the firm’s Office Managing Members. Thirty percent of Warren Averett’s Members and fifty-eight percent of senior management are women as well.

The Women of Warren Averett Initiative was designed to improve lives, provide career advice and offer firm-wide opportunities for women to meet, grow and learn. Additionally, the initiative has instituted Impact Groups that help support and connect a variety of interests and needs, including women at different stages in their professional and personal lives.
