Warren Averett was recognized as Alabama’s largest accounting firm in Business Alabama’s April 2024 edition, an honor the firm has held for over a decade. This list was determined by a statewide survey conducted by Business Alabama. Read more about this recognition.
Warren Averett’s Team Members Enjoy April Activities
Throughout the month of April, Warren Averett team members across the firm’s footprint enjoyed a variety of fun activities.
- The Easter Bunny visited the Pensacola office. Our team members participated in a great egg hunt, complete with candy and golden prize eggs.
- Our Client Accounting Services team members gathered in the Montgomery office to learn how to make floral arrangements.
- Every week throughout client service season, Huntsville team members held “Minute to Win It” Mondays, where they enjoyed a quick break with game and snacks.
- Montgomery team members took to the office’s roof to watch the historic solar eclipse.
- Destin and Fort Walton Beach team members gathered together at the Wood Foot Beer Company, a new Floridian roadside brewpub, where they engaged in some friendly competition with pickleball games.
Warren Averett’s Atlanta Team Attends Georgia Southern University’s Accounting Day
Team members in the Atlanta office attended Georgia Southern University’s (GSU) Accounting Day, an annual event where accounting students network with firms in the Atlanta area before attending an accounting banquet, awards ceremony and scholarship presentation. The team was proud to present two deserving GSU students with scholarships to help support the future of the accounting profession.
Sandy Coaker Serves as Family Sunshine Center’s Board President
Montgomery’s Office Managing Member, Sandy Coaker, CPA, is serving as the Family Sunshine Center’s (FSC) Board President during 2024. FSC is a nonprofit organization that helps victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking. Cyndi Warren Named to Inweekly Magazine’s 2024 Power List
Pensacola’s Office Managing Member, Cyndi Warren, CPA, has been named in the top 25 of Pensacola’s Inweekly Power List of 2024. This is the sixth year that she has been featured on the list. Rick Blanton and Hunter Smith Speak at ALFA’s Women’s Leadership Conference
