Panama City Disaster Recovery
After Hurricane Michael hit the Gulf Coast in 2018, many Warren Averett team members from across the Southeast banded together to provide aid to the team at the Firm’s Panama City office location. Through our team’s efforts, Warren Averett was able to provide much needed support and labor for our team members in Panama City. Offices throughout the Southeast hosted blood drives and gathered supplies to send to those who were impacted, but we know that the relief effort is far from over to restore the Panama City community.
In addition to the service efforts, Warren Averett has also been committed to providing sound professional guidance to our clients who were affected by Hurricane Michael. Most recently, on February 6, Warren Averett team members hosted a forum and shared their professional guidance concerning disaster recovery and for navigating Hurricane Michael relief services with Bay County Business leaders. Our Firm is committed to meeting the needs of our Gulf Coast clients throughout the disaster recovery process and into the future. You can also access articles on Warren Averett’s blog that discuss disaster recovery and relevant resources here.
Office Events in Tax Season
As the tax deadline quickly approaches, our team is as busy as ever to serve our clients to the best of our ability. But, even in the hustle and bustle of tax season, we are still looking for opportunities to build relationships with our clients and with our colleagues internally! For instance, our Atlanta office’s team hosted a Super Bowl party as an extension of our recent Firm-wide meeting, and they coordinated a surprise party for one of their teammates who recently completed six months of breast cancer treatments. Many other offices took the time to celebrate birthdays, Valentine’s Day and other events within our offices. We are proud of our team for prioritizing time invested into relationships with our clients and with each other and for acting out one of the Firm’s corporate values—solid relationships!
