Gail Wang Appointed as Treasurer of the National Children’s Advocacy Center Board of Directors

Gail Wang, CPA, of the firm’s Huntsville accounting and advisory office, has been appointed to serve as Treasurer of the National Children’s Advocacy Center.

The National Children’s Advocacy Center (NCAC) is a nonprofit agency in Huntsville that provides prevention, intervention and treatment services to abused children with a child-focused team approach. Since 1985, the NCAC has served as a model for over 1,000 children’s advocacy centers in the United States. The NCAC’s work established a set of standards and care that has helped countless children in the United States and internationally.

“It is an honor to serve as Treasurer for the National Children’s Advocacy Center’s Board of Directors,” said Wang. “I truly believe in the NCAC’s mission. I cannot wait to use my skills to help make an impact on the organization, the local community and in the lives of the children that it serves.”

Wang joined Warren Averett in 2020, and she is a Senior Manager in the firm’s Audit Division. She has more than 15 years of experience. Wang’s primary responsibilities include managing and overseeing audit engagements of privately held companies. She serves clients in a variety of industries, including construction, government contracting, manufacturing and transportation.

Gail also serves in the Audit’s Best Practice Leaders Group, which aims to ensure compliance of established best practices. She resides in the Huntsville area with her husband and two sons.
