Warren Averett’s Huntsville Office Supports Huntsville Animal Services
Warren Averett CPAs and Advisors’ Huntsville accounting and advisory office recently supported Huntsville Animal Services through Warren Averett’s Animal Advocacy Group.
Warren Averett’s Animal Advocacy Group (WAAAG) brings together dedicated team members who are passionate about improving animal welfare and inspiring others to take action through fostering and volunteer work.
Each summer, WAAAG leads its Annual Days of Service—an initiative that mobilizes employees across the firm to participate in hands-on volunteer efforts at local animal shelters, creating meaningful change for both the communities and the animals in those communities.
On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, our Huntsville accountants and advisors visited Huntsville Animal Services. During their visit, our team members took 15 dogs out of the shelter for a big pack walk on a nearby trail, where the dogs spent time relaxing in the grass in the shade.
Huntsville Animal Services is a municipality-run shelter that accepts pets from citizens in Huntsville and rural Madison County. They take in over 6,000 dogs, cats, rabbits and other animals each year.
