Michelle Sanchez Appointed as Nonprofit Leadership Center’s 2024 Board Chair
Michelle Sanchez, CPA
, a Member in the firm’s Tampa accounting and advisory office, has been appointed to serve as the Nonprofit Leadership Center’s Board Chair beginning in January 2024.
The Nonprofit Leadership Center (NLC) is Tampa Bay’s center for nonprofit education that exists to support the nonprofit sector. They offer professional development classes, certificate programs and customized learning experiences that develop and connect nonprofit leaders and help strengthen organizations and the community.
In 2021, Sanchez began serving on the Nonprofit Leadership Center’s Board. Since then, she has held the position of Treasurer. She is a strong advocate for nonprofit organizations in the Tampa Bay community.
“Throughout my career in public accounting, I have worked with many nonprofit organizations here in Tampa. I am always amazed by their resilience and dedication to making our community a better place,” says Sanchez. “I have been so honored to serve with the incredible team on the NLC board, and I look forward to my term as Board Chair. The NLC exists to ensure that our nonprofits have the tools they need to thrive, and I can’t wait to help our nonprofits grow even stronger.”
Michelle Sanchez is a Member of the firm and has been practicing public accounting since 1994. She is a leader of our Nonprofit Practice Group and strives every day to help her clients thrive by assisting them with accounting, auditing and consulting advice.
Sanchez is primarily responsible for audits, reviews and compilations for a broad-based clientele that includes nonprofit organizations and various companies in the service industry. She and her husband live in St. Petersburg, Florida, and have two amazing children.
