Adam Nelson is a Senior Manager in the Firm’s Audit Division.
He has more than 15 years of public accounting experience. Prior to joining the Firm, he began his auditing career by developing a specialty for auditing nonprofit and governmental clients as well as those audited under the Uniform Guidance (formerly the Single Audit Act). Adam has extensive experience serving counties, municipalities, quasi-governments and nonprofit organizations ranging from NGO’s to colleges/universities to orchestras and museums. His primary responsibilities include executing and managing financial statement audits as a trusted client advisor, providing insight on industry trends, identifying client issues and proactively communicating plausible solutions to clients beyond the debits and credits. In addition, he assists clients with internal control reviews, debt offerings as well as other accounting matters and business concerns.
