Larry Pirkle is a Member in Warren Averett’s Audit Division and serves as the firm’s Technology & Life Sciences Industry Group Leader. With over 30 years of experience, Larry has provided expert guidance to a variety of public and private entities in the technology and life sciences sectors, ranging from startups to multinational corporations. He is proficient in SEC and PCAOB regulations and has extensive technical experience with due diligence, software revenue recognition, equity transactions and acquisitions. Larry’s expertise also extends to companies in the government contracting, manufacturing and distribution industries. He joined Warren Averett in 2003, bringing with him 10 years of experience from an international accounting firm. Prior to joining the firm, Larry served as the corporate controller for a national commercial real estate development company. Larry resides in Birmingham with his wife and son, and he is actively involved in several professional and community organizations.
