Warren Averett Meets Future Professionals
Team members of Warren Averett (and Warren Averett’s Campus Recruiting Team) have been hard at work over the past few weeks. They have visited four states (and over 15 schools), where they have talked with students about Warren Averett. One of the most recent events happened on September 22, where they attended a Meet the Firms event at the University of West Florida and discussed future internships and opportunities with the firm.
Cody Daughtry Earns Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Certification
Cody Daughtry, CPA, CITP, CISA, of the firm’s Montgomery office has been designated as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) by ISACA. The CISA credential is the standard of achievement for those who audit, control, monitor and assess an organization’s information technology and business systems. Mindy Rankin Selected for the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ Board of Directors
Mindy Porep Rankin, CPA, CCD, of the firm’s Panama City office, has been selected to serve on the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (FICPA) Board of Directors. This is the second time that she has been appointed to serve on this board. FICPA is the premier professional organization that represents Florida’s CPAs. Jessica Story Selected for the Georgia Charter Schools Association Board of Directors
Jessica Story, CPA, of the firm’s Atlanta office, has been selected to serve on the Georgia Charter Schools Association’s Board of Directors. The GCSA is a nonpartisan advocate, partner and service provider for Georgia’s public charter schools. They aim to increase the number of excellent public school options for all Georgia students.
