Warren Averett’s Heather Locklar Selected for Girls Inc. Committee of 25

Written on October 20, 2021

Warren Averett CPAs and Advisors is pleased to announce that Heather Locklar, J.D., an Estate Planner and Member in the Firm’s Tax Division of our Birmingham accounting office, has been selected to join the Girls Inc. Committee of 25.

The Committee of 25 was created in 2001 to empower young professionals to learn about issues facing girls and how to advocate for their success. The committee serves as Girls Inc.’s junior board and supports the organization through volunteering, raising awareness about their mission and fundraising.

“It is an honor to join the Committee of 25,” said Locklar. “As someone who has always been focused on helping women take control of their financial futures, I’m excited to help young girls learn not only about their finances but also about how they can change and shape the world around them.”

Locklar currently works from the Firm’s Birmingham location but she serves all Warren Averett offices. She focuses on tailoring her estate planning process to help families and individuals reach their legacy goals. She also provides advice on effective business succession planning techniques for small business owners. She cofounded the Women’s Wealth Connection of Warren Averett, where she helps women advocate for and take control of their financial futures. She resides in Birmingham with her husband and daughter.
