Heather Locklar Recognized as a BBJ Nextgen: Law Award Winner
Warren Averett CPAs and Advisors is pleased to announce that Heather Locklar has been recognized as a NextGen: Law Award winner by the Birmingham Business Journal.
The NextGen: Law Awards recognizes up-and-coming attorneys who are already making their mark on Birmingham’s law scene. The award honors individuals for their contributions to their firms, tangible results in their practice areas and involvement in the community.
“During her time with Warren Averett, Heather has been a substantial influence in the ongoing success and growth of our Estate Planning group,” says Beverly Virciglio, a Member in the Firm’s Estate and Trust Service Area. “She exhibits strong leadership skills in our Firm in each way she serves, and she is respected by everyone who works with her.”
Heather Locklar is an Estate Planner and Senior Manager in Warren Averett’s Tax Division. After graduating from law school, Locklar chose to focus her practice in the areas of estate and tax planning, estate administration and small business succession planning. This best positioned her to help clients reach their personal and legacy goals by assisting them in crafting meaningful, impactful plans for themselves and their families.
Locklar holds professional affiliations with the American Bar Association, Alabama Bar Association, Birmingham Bar Association and Estate Planning Council of Birmingham, and she is a CLE Instructor on Grantor Trusts for the National Business Institute and Alabama Law Weekly. Locklar resides in Birmingham with her husband and their daughter.
