Jeff Blankenship joined Warren Averett after 36 years of experience as a Partner in the Assurance Practice at a Big Four firm. During his career, Jeff has worked with many clients in a wide variety of industries, ranging from mining and metals to industrial manufacturing, government contracting, consumer products, retail, distribution, construction, engineering and real estate companies. He has served as the lead audit partner or engagement quality reviewer for numerous SEC clients, as well as for many privately-held companies ranging in size from $25 million to over $10 billion in revenues. He has helped clients successfully complete numerous IPOs and private securities offerings. He has also helped clients conduct acquisitions, divestitures and various forms of restructurings. Jeff is skilled in implementing and evaluating internal controls pursuant to COSO and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. He has contributed to numerous publications, including “The Ernst & Young Guide to the IPO Value Journey.” At Warren Averett, Jeff brings his extensive experience in accounting and reporting and his business acumen to bear on a wide range of our clients’ pressing needs and imperatives. He also participates in the Firm’s quality control function and helps clients with assurance, mergers and acquisitions, accounting and advisory services. Jeff and his wife reside in Miramar Beach, Florida and spend their summers at Lake Martin in Alabama.
