The Warren Averett Birmingham Office Has Gone Solar!

Warren Averett is pleased to announce that we have joined the list of companies that have gone solar in Birmingham, Alabama. Working with Eagle Solar & Light to bring solar panels to the roof of the Birmingham office not only offers us energy cost savings (energy represents about 19 percent of total expenditures for the typical office building), it also aligns with our Firm’s dedication to sustainability.

“With 300 people working in our Birmingham office, our energy costs had gotten pretty high,” says Jack Adams, a Member of the Firm. “With the installation of the solar panels, the Birmingham office’s energy usage is estimated to offset $15,000 per year.”

The solar project was part of a renovation initiative that completely updated the Birmingham, Alabama office. The new urban contemporary interior aesthetic of the office was designed by the same team that helped with creating the Atlanta and Tampa office spaces.

The renovated look of the office is not only consistent with the Firm’s overall branding—it is now also consistent with other offices! Spaces are now open and collaborative with lots of light, and the Birmingham office gained several new workspaces, conference rooms, a breakroom café and a client concierge area.
