Supervisor – Consulting – International Tax – Atlanta, GA

Warren Averett is seeking an experienced tax accountant for our firm.  The ideal candidate will possess their CPA, have a minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience and have exposure with a willingness to expand their career in International Tax .

Responsibilities

• Review complicated tax returns for privately held companies in a variety of industries (C-Corp, S-Corp, and Partnership experience preferred)
• Assume responsibility: including client contact, coordination within the company, staffing requirements, administrative documentation, and preparation timing for engagements
• Provide support and assistance where necessary with respect to foreign tax credit calculation, utilization, and planning.
• Analyze, summarize, and document restructuring, acquisition, and divestiture transactions to ensure accurate tax reporting and disclosure. 
• Work on special projects and oversee the activities of associates and senior associates
• Develop and maintain quality client relationships
• Develop skills to attract new clients and market the company's services and products and facilitate expansion of business with existing clients

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting
• Possession of CPA
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with staff and clients
• Ability to provide guidance and direction to department staff who are not direct reports
