Justin Headley Receives AICPA’s Technology Advisory Standing Ovation Award
Justin Headley, CPA, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, of the firm’s Birmingham accounting and advisory office, recently received the Technology Advisory Standing Ovation Award from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
This award was presented during the AICPA and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants’ (CIMA) ENGAGE 2025 event in Las Vegas.
The Technology Advisory Standing Ovation award is part of the AICPA’s Standing Ovation program, which highlights CPAs under 40 who are doing amazing work in specialized areas. To be eligible, recipients need to have an active CPA license and be AICPA members in good standing.
Justin was one of just six CPAs recognized at ENGAGE this year. The awards spotlighted standout contributions in specialty areas, volunteer work and overall impact on the accounting profession.

Justin joined Warren Averett in 2016 and is a Senior Manager in the firm’s Risk Advisory & Assurance Services Group. He has over a decade of combined experience in public and industry accounting. Justin excels in providing his clients with comprehensive technology and cyber risk assessments, SOC 1 and SOC 2 reports and business process reviews.
In addition to his professional services, he is a published author and a speaker on a variety of technology topics. His insights and thought leadership in the field continue to drive his success in an ever-evolving environment.
