Stacy Watts Participate in Momentum’s Upward Program
Stacy Watts, CPA, a Senior Manager in the Tax Division of the firm’s Birmingham accounting and advisory office, has been chosen to participate in Momentum’s 2024 Upward program, a career leadership program for women.
Momentum’s Upward program is entering its sixth year and leverages Momentum’s expertise and network to grow leaders in early- and mid-career development stages. The participants, who underwent a lengthy application and selection process, will attend monthly, interactive half-day sessions over a nine-month period.
Program sessions are led by experienced professionals and former Momentum alumni who impart actionable lessons to help influence the participants’ career trajectories.
Watts will collaborate with other professionals and use the time to refine her personal and professional leadership skills. In between sessions, participants will complete assignments, meet with peers in co-mentoring groups and enjoy networking opportunities.

Stacy Watts is a Senior Manager and joined Warren Averett in 2016 after previously working with an international accounting firm for six years. Stacy has extensive experience working with nonprofits and public and private foundations. She also specializes in pass-through entities, multistate taxation and working with high-net-worth individuals.
