Kathy Rudder Participates in Momentum’s Huntsville Executive Leadership Program
Kathy Rudder, CPA, a Senior Manager in the Tax Division of Warren Averett’s Huntsville accounting and advisory office, has been selected to participate in Momentum’s Huntsville Executive Leadership Program.
The program is dedicated to helping Alabama women enhance their leadership abilities, professional networks and confidence. It attracts some of the best and brightest talent in the Huntsville area to address business and community-related challenges by providing them with the connections and knowledge that they need to thrive.
After the success of Momentum’s Birmingham program, it launched its first Huntsville leadership class last year. Participants of this second leadership class will attend monthly sessions over a nine-month period. These sessions, presented from a female perspective, concentrate on personal and professional growth and help strengthen soft and business skills.
Rudder joins a class of 21 women who will collaborate in co-mentoring groups, learn from interactions with senior mentors and advance their personal leadership development plans.
Rudder is a Service Area Leader for the firm’s Huntsville Tax Division, where she supports her team operationally by championing firm initiatives, policies and procedures and by supporting them individually with resources that foster their talent.
She has more than 20 years of experience in public and industry accounting. Her unique perspective allows her to offer solutions that extend beyond traditional tax compliance and planning.
