Written on August 19, 2022

Kim Hartsock, CPA, the Office Managing Member of Warren Averett’s Atlanta accounting and advisory office, has been selected by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as one of their 2022 Most Admired CEOs.

This selection honors Atlanta-based chief executives with a strong record of innovation in their field, outstanding financial performance, a commitment to quality and diversity in the workplace and contributions to the metro community.

The 2022 honorees were chosen using a list of nominees from the community and the newsroom. The editor in chief, publisher and research director of the Atlanta Business Chronicle created the final list out of more than 100 submissions. The honorees were celebrated at a ceremony this week at a networking event and dinner at The Foundry at Puritan Mill. Hartsock is one of only two honorees for the accounting industry.

“It is an honor to have been named as one of Atlanta’s most admired leaders,” said Hartsock. “I am extremely committed to both the success of Warren Averett’s Atlanta office and of the local community. Our Warren Averett team will continue to do our best to help our local Atlanta community and clients thrive.”

Since 2020, Hartsock has been the Office Managing Member of the Atlanta office, and she has been with the firm since 2004. She is the co-host of the firm’s podcast, The Wrap, which provides actionable advice for business leaders. Hartsock is a respected thought leader in the firm, who enjoys providing innovative solutions to clients and helping them reach their goals.

She is equally as committed to her community, where she serves on the executive boards of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and the Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia, as well as the Georgia Southern University School of Accounting’s Advisory Board.
