Warren Averett, LLC is pleased to welcome Colleen Aldridge, CPA, to the Firm’s Atlanta office. Aldridge brings 22 years of tax experience and specializes in companies with operations in multiple state and local jurisdictions.
“I am excited to bring my significant state and local tax experience to the Firm,” said Aldridge. “With the perpetual abundance of changes in the areas of state taxation, like income and franchise, gross receipts and transaction taxes, it is important that we stay current on these changes and assure that companies manage risk by understanding the tax implications of operating in a multijurisdictional environment.”
Warren Averett takes a proactive approach by assessing each organization’s compliance with laws and regulations and implementing strategies to reduce the cost of doing business. The Firm works diligently to ensure that opportunities for state and local tax savings are realized through complete analysis and development of effective planning strategies, combined with successful implementation and firm negotiations with taxing authorities.
Aldridge is a Manager in Warren Averett’s Consulting Division. Her experience includes state income and franchise tax compliance and consulting, state tax credits, sales and use consulting and property tax compliance and consulting. Currently, she is primarily responsible for helping companies understand and optimize their state tax filing positions. Aldridge resides in Peachtree Corners, Georgia with her husband and her son.
