Lisa Billings joined Warren Averett in 2005 and is a Member in the firm’s Tax Division, serves on the Executive Committee and is one of the Real Estate Practice Leaders. Lisa primarily focuses on clients in the real estate and private equity arena. Prior to joining the firm, Lisa spent several years at Arthur Andersen LLP and a commercial real estate firm in Charlotte, North Carolina. She focuses her practice on the taxation of pass-through entities and helps her clients with mergers and acquisitions, entity structure, international tax planning, and federal and state tax planning. Lisa works with real estate firms in commercial and multi-family real estate through all phases of the project to provide the most tax-efficient structuring on acquisitions and dispositions.
