Warren Averett Hosts Second Annual Firm Spirit Day

On Friday, March 8th, Warren Averett employees across the Southeast participated in the second annual Warren Averett Spirit Day—celebrating the people, principles and purpose that make Warren Averett unique.

As part of Spirit Day, team members sported their blue attire (representing Warren Averett’s official brand color) and took to social media to showcase their Firm spirit. Many offices across the Firm’s locations hosted their own unique Spirit Day celebrations. The Firm’s Atlanta office brought in a spread of snacks and even set up a Warren Averett themed photo booth so that team members could document the fun of the day! Warren Averett Ranks as Second-Largest CPA Firm in the Gulf Coast

Warren Averett was recently ranked as the second-largest CPA firm in the Gulf Coast region. Our accounting firm has over 800 employees throughout 13 offices across Alabama, Florida and Georgia, and we even have affiiate offices in Texas and in the Cayman Islands. The Firm’s Accountants and Advisors are Out and About in their Communities

Even in the busy month of March, employees seek to give back to and support their local communities.

Some examples include:

  • Warren Averett was a sponsor of the 25th Annual Culinary Caper luncheon, benefiting the Montgomery Area Council on Aging (MACOA), which supports vulnerable and aging seniors facing the threat of hunger and isolation who rely on Meals on Wheels and other essential programs. Several Warren Averett employees from the Montgomery office attended the event to support this great cause.
  • Warren Averett’s Destin office sponsored the Seaside School Half Marathon and 5K Run, which benefits the Seaside School serving Walton County students. The Warren Averett Destin office’s Office Managing Member even participated as a runner in the 5K race!

Busy Season “Stress Busters” Continue to Occur Firm-Wide

In all of Warren Averett’s office locations, employees are working hard to serve our clients during tax season, but they are also having fun! In the Firm’s Montgomery office location, team members in the Accounting Services Division hosted a cookout for the rest of the Firm employees to enjoy for their lunch break. The Tampa office hosted an event for employees to celebrate the March 15th tax deadline, the Atlanta office hosted a massage therapist who offered 10-minute chair massages to team members and our firm’s Birmingam office co-sponsored a March Madness event. The Firm’s Pensacola office is even hosting weekly get-togethers on Friday evenings for employees to connect and socialize outside of the office after a full week of serving our clients! Many other offices are planning celebrations for April 15th. We love seeing our team members prioritizing providing top-notch services to our clients while also prioritizing building realtionships with each other!
