The Campus Recruitment Team had a busy September visiting college campuses. Throughout the month, they met with students at different universities in Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi to discuss some of the perks of working for Warren Averett. Ryan Grauel Presents at the Cary Center’s Nonprofit Training Series
Ryan Grauel, CPA, a Member in the firm’s Birmingham office, recently presented at the Nonprofit Training Series program hosted by the Cary Center. The event featured insights about topics like nonprofit accounting basics, grant writing and recruitment and retention. Claiborne Morris Recognized as Birmingham Business Journal’s 2023 NextGen of Accounting
Birmingham’s Claiborne Morris, CPA, CCIFP, has been recognized as an honoree by the Birmingham Business Journal’s 2023 NextGen BHM: Accounting awards. The awards spotlight emerging leaders in the accounting world who are playing pivotal roles at their firms and with their clients. Teambuilding Continues Throughout the Southeast
Fort Walton Beach team members gathered to enjoy their monthly Anchor Day, which was created to foster deeper relationships and collaboration. This month, they celebrated work anniversaries and enjoyed shaved ice and ice cream.
Team members throughout all the firm’s office locations participated in College Colors Day, which was an opportunity for everyone to display some team spirit for colleges they rooted for or graduated from! There were even some paw-some jersey pics featuring everyone’s furry friends, and some team members even won superlatives, including Best Team Photo and Most Spirited Pet.
Montgomery Office Strengthens Community Bonds
In Montgomery, the team attended local events to strengthen community relationships.
Marketing team members attended the Faces of Montgomery magazine launch party. Faces of Montgomery is an annual edition magazine created by the authors of CentrAL, INC!, Central Alabama’s business magazine.
The office also sponsored the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce’s lunch, where attendees enjoyed a presentation by Prattville Baptist Hospital.
