Scott Pruitt Named Among Birmingham Business Journal’s Veterans of Influence

Scott PruittWarren Averett CPAs and Advisors is pleased to announce that Scott Pruitt, CDPSE, CISA, an IT Security Manager in the Firm’s Security, Risk and Controls Group of our Birmingham accounting office, has been named as one of the Birmingham Business Journal’s (BBJ) 2021 Veterans of Influence.

The BBJ’s Veterans of Influence section recognizes military veterans who have served their country before going on to have successful careers in Birmingham’s business community. The goal of the segment is to highlight the accomplished individuals and illustrate how their military experience helped shape their careers.

Honorees were selected based on nominees’ track records of success in their companies and within their industries.

Scott Pruitt joined Warren Averett in 2006 as the Manager of Technology Services in the Firm’s internal Information Technology Group. He currently uses his 25 years of experience to assist clients with their own Information Systems. His responsibilities include IT risk assessments, preparation of IT General Control Reviews and more. Prior to joining the Firm, he served as a Marine.
