Warren Averett Teams Retreat and Reconnect
Several teams within the firm took the opportunity to connect and have a little fun during the month of October.
- Warren Averett Technology Group recently got together for their annual retreat, where they spent time reflecting, celebrating wins and discussing goals for the upcoming year.
- The firm’s Marketing Team also gathered for their marketing summit and plenty of sessions that helped strengthen knowledge and bonds. They went axe-throwing and proved that not only were they experts, but they were axe-perts, too!
- The Pensacola administrative team recently showed off their creative talents at the local Painting with a Twist.
- In Montgomery, team members Avery Phillips, Colby Blackburn and Steve Barranco joined forces with a Troy University friend to participate in Troy University Chancellor’s Golf Tournament.
Warren Averett Celebrates Huntsville’s Top 40 Under 40
The firm’s Huntsville office and Waverly Advisors recently cohosted a networking mixer for the honorees of Huntsville Business Journal’s inaugural Top 40 Under 40 class. Throughout the evening, attendees shared stories and ideas and explored ways that they could continue positively impacting the Huntsville community. Read more about the celebration.

Birmingham’s Carol Phillips, CPA, CFE, has been named as a 2023 Top Birmingham Women honoree by the Birmingham Business Journal.
